Hacks to battling your Imposter Syndrome: From One (Recovering) Imposter to Another

Do you ever feel like you’re just one misstep away from being “found out” as a fraud, no matter how much you’ve achieved? Or have you ever talked yourself out of doing something you were really excited to do out of fear that it wouldn’t be good enough? If so, you’re not alone. This session, led by a recovering imposter, dives into the roots of imposter syndrome and its sneaky influence on our thoughts, emotions, and actions, as well as the ways these intrusive thoughts can hold us back from achieving our goals through false protectionism. Together, we’ll explore:

• How to recognize the subtle (and not-so-subtle) ways imposter syndrome shows up in our daily lives.
• The impact it has on our goals, decision-making, and sense of self-worth including the ways it keeps us trapped into feeling protected.
• Evidence-based strategies to build confidence and self-compassion, as shared by Lil, a neuroscientist, coach, and podcaster who herself is a work in progress in this mission.

This interactive discussion will equip you with tools to quiet the inner critic, celebrate your achievements authentically, and move toward your aspirations with clarity and courage. Whether you’re new to this journey or already on the path, this session is designed to help you reclaim your narrative and live fully in your potential.

Come as you are—imposter feelings and all. You are so worthy.
